This jeans doesn't even look that special, and still you have to pay so much more for this pair compared to a normal pair of jeans... waste of money!?!

A company from Switzerland named "Caran d'Ache" made 'La Modernista Diamonds' a pen that was sold in Harrods, London, for $265,000. The pen was created as a memory of the famous architect Antonio Gaudi, the rhodium-coated solid silver pen has an 18-karat gold pen point and is pave-set with 5,072 diamonds and 96 half-cut rubies.

Peter Aloisson is the creator of the most expensive phone ever. It costs more than a BMW 3-series convertible, or a Jaguar S-Type. A Motorola, due to it's cover in 1200 diamonds and that is featuring a keyboard full of 18-carat gold. No wonder the phone costs 28, 000 pound sterling....

Most expensive shoes: 1 million pounds


The most expensive pair of shoes in the entire world were on sale at Harrods in London. The shoes have been inspired by the ruby colored slippers from The Wizard of Oz, and these shoes were woven from platinum thread and set up with the enormous amount of 642 rubies! Name on single girl who wouldn't love to have this pair of shoes!?

Hey!
I just read another blog that was writing about "Photo Manipulation" and with the text there were some amazing photos. I got really intrigued and wanted to find out more about it, and I am now gonna share some photos that are great examples of Photo Manipulation.

First of all; what is Photo Manipulation?

Photo manipulation is the application of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion or deception (in contrast to mere enhancement or correction), through analog or digital means. Its uses, cultural impact, and ethical concerns have made it a subject of interest beyond the technical process and skills involved.

Photo Manipulation can be done using photo editing software programs such as Photoshop, but it is extremely hard to create a realistic Photo Manipulation. Still, with some practice, it is possible.

Creative Advert

Creating a unique and intriguing advert is extremely hard. I know it myself since me and my class just did an advertising project in English. Anyway, I really enjoy watching these incredibly creative adverts that just get stuck on your mind, and I am really impressed by the people who comes up with all the ideas. I just found an advertisement from the post station, and it really speaks to me.


The slogan is "If you really want to touch someone, send them a letter", and the photo above is so unique. Doesn't this advert kind of tempt you to send a long love letter to your love? Well, it does to me.

Either way, I'll break your heart someday

Today the grade five had their exhibition, and almost all of the groups did very well to be so young. I wasn't here in grade five so I never got to do the exhibition, but it seems like a lot of fun in my opinion. Anyhow, I am currently in love with an amazing rock band called Augustana. They aren't a very new band, and I have listened to almost all of their songs over and over again, but yet I just can't get tired of any off them. All of the lyrics are really memorable, and I actually find meaning in them. Also, there isn't one single song that they have done, which I don't like. Still, some of my favorites are "Hey Now", "Sweet and Low", "I still ain't over you", and "Either way I'll break your heart someday". Today I will show you the last one, but unfortunately I couldn't find a music video for it.. -.-

I know that lyrics have different meanings to all of us, but the way I understood these ones is that it is about a boy who has to go away from his girlfriend. He has two options; breaking up with her before leaving, or going away from her risking that the love will go away. Anyhow, he will hurt her. I don't know if that is what Augustana meant when they wrote the song, but at least that is how I understand it. What do you think?

New Moon

Hello! It's Meiji! This days, I have to wear singlets at home and turn air conditioner on, or else I get too sweaty! I guess, this is a sign of summer coming up! ✭☆✭ Do you have a plan for this summer break? This is just my idea, I think going to beaches or traveling other countries over this summer with your friends/ family would be nice! Today, I have a new movie to introduce you! It's twilight's second movie, 'New Moon'!

I personally enjoyed the twilight saga sooo much, and loved the movie of it. So, I am looking forward to watch the second movie of twilight! This is twilight's story line (for people who didn't watch it yet): TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Confessions of a Shopaholic

Helloo.. :)

Yesterday I went to see "Confessions of a shopaholic" - a movie I have wanted to see for so long! The movie is based by the three first books in the series, but many of the book's happenings doesn't appear in the movie. Anyway, the main character is called Becky Bloomwood, and is played by hilarious Isla Fisher. Isla Fisher really enhanced Becky's already awesome character, and she made me laugh so many times. Briefly, the movie includes a lot of fun scenes, but also some romance. It is a great, girly movie, and it is definitely worth seeing. However, I found the books more enjoyable, and after reading the books, the movie wasn't as good as it would have been before reading the books. The reason why is because so many scenes from the books were cut in the movie, and some scenes were even added. Therefore people who enjoyed the movie would probably think that books are even better, than thinking that movie wasn't as good as the books... Get my point? :P
Finally; if you enjoy fashion, then you will get very inspired by Becky's huge wardrobe. I wouldn't mind having a wardrobe even the size of one-fifth of hers.

I am sitting here waiting for Swedish Club to start. I am actually done with all my work for the term, but today we are going to practice songs for the end-of-year event, so I have to be there anyway....

Kawaii Cute Strawberry Earrings

Hey there!
I was supposed to have one more soccer practice today (I already had one), but I injured my legs last week, and I already felt that my leg started to hurt again during my first practice. I know from experience that the second one includes much more running, and I don't want to risk, injuring my leg even more. Instead, me and my mom are going to either go out and eat tonight, or we might just stay home and watch a movie. Anyways; yesterday I showed you such sweet necklaces, and I today found earrings, even cuter..

Crystal Sweets Necklaces

I have seen these necklaces many times before, and I have always found them so cute. So, I just decided to look this up, and it is such eye-candy.. XD

Anyways, these necklaces are meant to look really sweet and cute, and they definitely do.. In this series, you can choose between a Crystal Cupcake necklace, Crystal popsicle Necklace, or a Crystal Ice cream necklace, and they are all available in many different colors. I also find another really cute necklace, but it is not in the same category (sweets and candy). Instead it is a dice out of silver on this necklace, and it is very stylish to.
I am not gonna by one, but confess it; you like them too. I mean it is impossible not to like them..

Oxfam Walk

Todat a big Oxfam walk is taking place in Odawara, just about one hour away from Tokyo, and tomorrow morning, the hikers are expected to come in goal. My parent's friends are walking, so tomorrow morning we will go there to support them in the last part of the big hike! One of our friends works for Hilton, so we and some other friends are going to stay there all weekend having fun!

Therefore, I won't be able to update during this weekend, but I promise I will continue as normal on Monday and forward. Anyways; this walk is really long (100 kilometers to be precise), but what makes it so tough is the fact that it goes up and down all the time. Up on hills and mountains, and deep down in to flat land. Also, the hikers started this walk this morning (i think) and they will walk all night, not having much time to rest, since they have a deadline that they have to make. If they don't make the deadline, then they won't be able to finish the walk...


I really think it is strong of all the participants to actually participate, because all of the money raised goes to Oxfam's Charities.

TV Advert

Hey there!

Today one of the main things was when me and Minjee hung out at my place after school. We mainly worked on our TV advert for our english project, and it was lots of fun recording and dressing up.

Our advert is trying to sell pretty umbrellas that can change color just by being pulled in and out, or by being turned. Anyways; for our advert we had to use six different umbrellas, so when we made our way home with all of the umbrellas with us, everyone kind of stared at us.. :P

Anyways, Minjee is going to work a little bit on the movie editing this weekend, and next week we will work on it together. When we are done, I promise to put up the final result, ok?

Hey there!

This is my first update on this new blog, and here you will be able to read about our everyday life, but also things that we like, including music, fashion, design, photos, and tons of other fun stuff! Our title is “Color Hairbands” for a reason, which is that we are gonna switch colors every now and then, and these colors are either gonna match our mood, the season our current events. Now, let me start my first update..:

In Europe, there is an annual song contest called The Eurovision Song Contest. In this competition, all of the European countries are allowed to compete with one song each. Anyways, this year Norway one with a song called “Fairytale”. The representative is called Alexander Rybak, and it was just earlier today that I realized how cute he is! :)
His singing is okay, and the song is quite good, but I think that one of the main reasons why he won the competition is because of his charming smile, and cute looks...

Real Eye-candy..

It is easy to understand why he has become so popular in Europe... :P

Design Drawing

I am drawing designs for a competition! To win this competition, you basically have to design a singlet for teenagers. XD I guess you have noticed by now, but I am really into designing things; such as clothes, pillows, fonts and etc... Anyway, I already designed few singlets...

I am designing a font for a Korean website as well! It is a Korean Search Engine called 'Naver', and they are having a font making competition as a celebration of 'Hanguel Day'. ('Hanguel' means Korean Language in Korean XD) There is an amazing prize of course. If you win the first prize, you will get about 100,000,000 Yen... Well, if I win the first prize, I would use the money for having an awesome Summer vacation with my family! XD Luckily, not many people are participating this competition! Hope 'Naver' choose my handwriting!

I just found out that 2NE1 released their new mini album! XD It's not like I'm a big fan of 2NE1, but since G-Dragon (a member of Bigbang) composes songs for 2NE1, I am interested!
